It also features a unique stereo effect, which pans the chorus sound between left and right speakers. Its controls are straightforward (Effect Level, EQ, Rate, and Depth), but they offer plenty of flexibility to dial in the right sound.
This 2004 Boss CH-1 Super Chorus shows some minor cosmetic wear (see photos), but it is fairly clean and functions 100% as it should. In 2002, Boss started using surface-mount components, so this one uses that version of the PCB (as opposed to the earlier, mod-friendly template).
The CH-1 is one of the most widely-used chorus pedals—and for good reason, too! Its tone is clean, and it operates without excess noise. Plus, it's easy to use and pedal-board friendly.
